Life, a sakura tree

Life, is like a

Sakura tree

uncertain and short- lived

they bloom just for two weeks

no one really knows

which weeks of the season

they will fully bloom

they go from the

long stem, pink flower clusters

to barren branches in no time

just like our fleeting lives

and how

it can tragically end

leaving behind

just the fallen petals and leaves

yet overwhelmingly beautiful

and are cherished as long

as they exists

making everything around them

beautiful and happy

Life indeed is a sakura tree

uncertain and short- lived

yet overwhelmingly

beautiful and

should be cherished as long as exists.

PS : Sakura is the Japanese name for cherry blossom

  1. Ah!
What a brilliant metaphor you used, Sakura tree, from my childhood and anime days, I was fascinated with cherry blossoms in Japan and their ephemeral branches dangling above the head, surrounding your whole existence, as I grew up I was stunned to realise the shortness of their life,
It is a beautiful symbol of life in general,
We are here not for a long time.
    So live, live.
    Wonderful post.
